I have just looked through all the female faces of all the classes and can conclude:

They all now have five o'clock shadow and look like they are trying to hide a bag of toffees in their mouth.

My male Tyrian monk with an Asian face was definitely affected. He always used to have cropping issues around the eyes, sort of a strange white border. That problem is fixed, but he now looks very different. His features are less Asian-looking, and he has dark streaks under the eyes which look like makeup and seem less-than-masculine.

Heres a leaked picture of the model used by A-net for the lipsync changes which might explain the changes....

The one of the ranger, is funny as hell! Talk about "symbiosis" between her and her pet! They did more than just "Heal as one"! I think the pet did a little "Beastial pounce" on her!

I've nothing new to add on the faces; some of my characters are noticeably different but not to the extent some here are. Mostly their expression is a bit off - slightly smiling instead of a scowl, etc. I'm happy that lipsync is being added and can understand the need to change this retroactively.

I would however like to report one thing on this thread we're told is maybe being monitored and point out this long running glitch to people, and which I hope could be fixed -

It occurs with the camera pulled right back (which is why it's such a small picture) and while running forwards. It's more difficult to get a screenshot of it than I thought but is very obvious when moving.

She looks a bit better now. She has more shading by her lips to give her more depth and her face is a bit longer and less squashed. Other than that the difference is very subtle, so I can't see how you think she is totally f**ked?!

She gives me the chills, I've been used to her old look for the past 7 months and suddenly she has this ugly smirk-ish kinda expression on her face, she looks plain out horrible and ugly now!

yep my monk has a weird look with those enlarged buns, i think is not difficult to reduce the mesh (of the buns) of the hair to match the previous size, please fix it, looks like she has a bigger head

Sure the Mona Lisa's smile is famous, but you still wouldnt want to wake up next to her in the morning would you?

Its a case of we like what we had. AFAIK there was no mention of character facial changes in the Anet update, and I completely fail to comprehend how these major graphical errors managed to get through Quality Control or whatever Q.A system Anet uses.

You'd have thought that with each change they made to a face they would have rotated it, changed poses, or AT LEAST LOOKED AT IT without the beer glasses on before release.

At least its comforting to hear that Anets team are working hard on correcting the problem, and kudos to them for the hard effort & willingness to do it, but the fact is that it ought not to really have happened.

Well graphical errors will get through. Simply because the character creation system has multiple hair styles/armor and i doubt they tested the new heads with ALL the various combinations of hair and armors.

That being said, post your glitches so they know!

now my ele looks like a zombie, and every my female character got a makeover which anet needs to make the makeup as an option when you create a character, not on my existing characters.

My ranger now has a very noticable vertical blinking line in the middle of his chin. He has the goatee and there appears to be a gap right in the middle that blinks black/white. Not sure how they could miss something as obvious as this. I'm starting to think they don't even test updates.

I admit it... I'm the one responsible for all the female makeovers in the last update. I just like the just-been-crying-smirking-scared-eyes-botox-lipped prostitute look.

So sue me!
